Ivonescimab Plus Chemotherapy for Post-Escalation EGFR-Mutated NSCLC Leptomeningeal Metastases: Retrospective Signal
This single-center cohort offers the first descriptive outcome data for ivonescimab-based multimodality salvage in leptomeningeal disease after dose-escalated third-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor failure, a setting with no established standard.

Exploring ivonescimab as salvage therapy for advanced NSCLC challenges.
This study explores treatment options for leptomeningeal metastases in EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer after traditional therapies fail. With ivonescimab plus chemotherapy, median overall survival was 8.54 months and LM progression-free survival was 6.54 months. Grade 3 or higher adverse events were noted in 45.2% of patients. Limited by its retrospective nature and small sample size, but provides insight into potential salvage therapies for challenging cases. Ivonescimab with chemotherapy may offer a salvage option for LM in EGFR-mutated NSCLC after other therapies fail.
