Background Information

CagriSema offers superior weight loss over semaglutide alone.

Managing obesity effectively can reduce cardiovascular risks and improve quality of life. CagriSema led to greater weight loss than semaglutide 2.4 mg alone: an average difference of -6.89 percentage points. Although CagriSema enhances weight loss, it does not offer additional glycemic benefits and increases injection-site reactions. CagriSema substantially enhances weight loss over semaglutide but increases injection-site reactions.
