The study found a 96% response rate with topical sirolimus gel, significant pain reduction, and decreased lesion size without notable systemic absorption. This treatment offers an effective and safe option for managing pediatric superficial microcystic LMs, with mild side effects and maintained low blood sirolimus levels. Topical sirolimus gel shows promising efficacy and safety for treating pediatric lymphatic malformations.
