Lupus nephritis is a severe manifestation of systemic lupus erythematosus requiring effective treatment options to achieve remission and prevent kidney damage. Triple therapy combinations, particularly SOC with Tacrolimus or Voclosporin, effectively induce remission in lupus nephritis, performing better than standard of care alone with similar safety profiles. This analysis suggests calcineurin inhibitors in triple therapy are highly effective for lupus nephritis; however, these results largely pertain to adult population data and may not wholly represent pediatric cases. Triple therapy, especially with Tacrolimus or Voclosporin, shows promise for lupus nephritis remission.
