Background Information

Cladribine tablets show promise for sustained treatment-free remission in RMS.

This study evaluates the long-term efficacy of cladribine tablets in maintaining remission and cognitive function in relapsing multiple sclerosis (RMS) without continuous treatment. After two years, 78.6% in Year 3 and 79.2% in Year 4 achieved no evidence of disease activity (NEDA-3). Cognitive function remained stable or improved in 79.0%/88.1% of participants. The findings suggest that cladribine tablets could offer a sustained treatment-free remission option for RMS, though its applicability to broader patient populations needs further investigation. Cladribine tablets maintained efficacy in RMS during treatment-free years 3 and 4.
