Education gaps in VAP prevention hinder ICU care quality.
VAP is a leading cause of mortality in ICU, and prevention relies on adherence to care bundles. Significant knowledge disparities about VAP prevention were noted among ICU staff, with universal compliance to basic measures but gaps in complex tasks. The study emphasizes the need for targeted educational interventions for ICU staff, particularly focused on complex VAP prevention measures. Educational deficits in VAP prevention are a key barrier to effective ICU care.
